The Varied Week of a Copywriter

Well it’s been a varied week so far as a copywriter and a week which confirms why I love my job. On Tuesday I wrote copy for a heritage commemoration organisation in readiness for the centenary of the RAF, Wednesday I was writing promo copy for a music event and today has seen me liaising on a marketing campaign with a tech. marketeer and then writing a blog post for a record label. I’ve always been a history buff, a music nerd and a tech geek so all my worlds have been in conjunction. Moreover all my clients presented me with clear and imaginative design briefs which played to the strengths of the products, the companies and the creatives involved in making these things happen. Apropos the above, this TED Talk from Jean Tang resonates.
